Water
Greenspace Ltd specialises in “natural” water system design and build. Classical marble water features and dancing fountains are not our speciality! Water systems in balance with nature and which are well thought out are.
We take a very practical approach to our “Water” design. Learn, mimic and work in harmony with the local environment and nature. Our basic rules:
- Our projects should not have a negative “water” impact on the environment and where possible use the landscape and environment to help clean, improve and conserve water.
- Lush landscapes are very important to us but should landscapes be implemented at all in water shortage areas? What is the balance of native drought tolerant plants. How to impliment irrigation etc? These are all points that need to be addressed early on the project planning phase.
- Long term testing of water and understanding seasonal effects on water quality is of the upmost importance.
- Get your zero and levels right and don’t fight against the natural flow!
- Where applicable introduce play and usage into the water system. Bring the people as close and get them to interact with water.
- Educate people about water through the project. How to conserve, reuse, filter and be responsible for it.

碧意轩专注于自然水系统的设计和施工。传统的石质水景和音乐喷泉则不是我们的专长！经过充分思考后使水系统与自然环境达到平衡。
在我们的设计中会运用非常实用的方式，学习，模拟营造适宜当地自然环境的水系统，我们遵循的基本原则是：
- 我们的项目不应该对当地的环境造成负面的影响，尽可能的选择景观和自然环境去帮助过滤、提升和维护水质。
- 茂盛的景观对于我们来说非常重要，但是有些景观是否适合在缺乏水资源的地方兴建，怎么合理利用耐干旱原生植物，如何实施灌溉，这些问题都应该在项目的规划阶段进行探讨考量。
- 通过长期的水质监测去了解季节性的水质变化效果非常至关重要的
- 确定好正确的零标高，设计尽量不要跟自然的坡向有冲突
- 通过项目使人们了解如何节约，再利用，净化水质。
